With my last video from the Next Newsroom conference, I had a chance to interview Kara Andrade who is a Social Media Strategist and Web Editor at Maynard Institute. Kara also trains journalist to use social media tools, mentions how it’s a journalist job to filter signal from the noise, and gives advice for journalist/newsrooms that are looking to embrace social media.

Kara also answered a few questions on how to get started with social media and what social networking sites should newsrooms keep an eye on now.
