Lots Of TV Shows NOT Coming Back Next Year
Thanks to 600 plus TV channels out there these days, not to mention a bunch more to watch on the internet, the number of people watching one channel is less than it was yesterday. I don’t know if that’s the reason a lot of your favorite TV shows got the boot this year…or maybe it’s just because they stink.
Either way…all the networks have recently announced what shows will not be coming back next year…here’s a list of your favorite NBC shows as well as some other ones I was sad/happy about not returning.
After five seasons on NBC, Las Vegas will not be rolling the dice in the fall. Bob Saget can go back to making money off Full House reruns because 1 vs. 100 is pulling up zeros after two seasons. Bionic Woman AND My Dad is Better Than Your Dad are both so bad that even yo mama would have canceled them after eight episodes. Finally, Journeyman could not figure out where he was going after one season and will now have to find his way to the unemployment line.
The winner of the canceled series contest is Quarterlife, which only aired ONE EPISODE. Wow…with commercials, that’s only like 45 minutes. And here’s a big surprise, the ABC show Caveman is going back to the dark ages. Who thought that show would be a hit, it was based on an insurance commercial.
Sadly, one of my favorite new shows, Back To You will not be back after one season. I liked it because it was a comedy based on a TV newsroom and it starred Frasier Crane…I mean Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton. Great show, but I think the writers strike may have hurt its chances.
There are a lot more shows not coming back, for a complete list, check out this Yahoo! article.
