Today Show Announces Summer Concert Series
Those of you who have been waiting for Paula Abdul to step away from the American Idol judges table and back up on stage…your wait is over.
NBC and The Today Show announced the entire rundown for this summer’s concert series. It will kick off with Paula Abdul Friday, April 25 during the 7:00 AM broadcast.
The series concludes Friday, August 8 with Sheryl Crow and then the Today Show crew heads off to the Beijing Olympics. Missing from the list this year is Jimmy Buffet…but I wouldn’t be surprised if he pops in with his Parrotheads.
The interesting concert this summer will be the Surprise Reunion Concert on Friday, May 16. From what I’ve read on the world wide internet, it’s going to be anyone from the Partridge Family, The Jackson Five or the Von Trapp Family.
