Shuttle Lands But NASA Running Out Of Money

Just about the time Endeavour returned to Earth Wednesday night, NASA was trying to figure out where it’s going to get $43 million.

Earlier in the week, NASA was put on notice it needed to cut some costs.  $4 million of that $43 million was to come from the Mars Rover Project.  The good news is, NASA changed their mind and now they don’t have to turn one of the two rovers off.  As for the bad news…well, I guess there isn’t any right now, but where did they get the $43 million?

How would you like to be up in space and learn that NASA is making budget cuts…I think I would be a little nervous.  Read more on the fuzzy math story here.

As for the shuttle landing, NASA always does a live blog for each launch and landing and with Endeavour coming back home tonight, this would be a good time for you to check out NASA’s STS-123 Landing Blog.
