How Far Would YOU Travel to See Your Favorite Band?

Admittedly, I’m guilty of being a groupie of sorts.  Back in my college days I went from venue to venue to see artists like Def Leppard, Heart, and even Reba McIntyre.  I’m still kind of a “groupie” cuz I would travel as far as necessary to see my favorite musicians and actors if I had the chance. 

But, this vlog isn’t about me.  It’s about three ladies I met at Tree this weekend - two from Georgia and one from here in Winston-Salem.  These girls will travel as far as necessary to see Lifehouse.  But, I think the most interesting part of my conversation with them was how they met.  Take a look for yourself -

    Hey, that’s me! (The one in the middle) - It was great to meet you and thanks SO much for helping us out with the VIP passes! We had such an amazing time rockin’ the front row :) Our friends online captured the webcam performance for us so we got to watch it when we got home - It’s a great memento to have! Hope you guys loved Lifehouse as much as we do!

    Hey, all three of those lovely ladies are friends of mine! I’m from Indiana and met all of them at Lifehouse shows as well! It’s amazing that the love of a band can bring people together like that (and I guess it’s nuts just how far we’ll drive for them)! We’re a crazy bunch, but I wouldn’t change a thing ;-)

    heyy, i enjoyed that. i went on my first lifehouse roadtrip in 2003 with kristi and elissa (the girl on the right). one of the best times i’ve ever had. :)

    wow you guys are famous! thats so awesome! i met kristi and elissa in 2003 also when i traveled from maryland to kentucky to a lifehouse show! and then from md to wisconsin in 2005, it was awesome! i hope to meet the katie at a lh show one day :)

    Hi, Girls…What fun you all are!! As Elissa said, “you do it for your favorite band.” I did back in the day, anyway. Now it’s the Soaps. I’m a HUGE fan of one on another network and I have made several friends through the message boards and blogs just because I watch that particular show…and we’ve gone to Super Soap Weekend in Orlando as a group too. It’s a whole lot of fun, isn’t it?!

    Anyway, Elissa, Cayte, and Kristi, it was so nice to meet all of you that evening. It was a pleasure to help you out!
