Pipers Tavern…Bar Food…eh?
| Posted by: trankin in American Grille |
IT’S A BOY!!!! This past Monday we had a welcome lunch for our newest CCL, Doug Sutton. Doug joined the team knowing he is going to be the only guy on a team of 10 girls (if you count our 3 interns)! As tradition goes, we took Doug out for a welcome lunch. This time we chose Pipers Tavern on Falls of the Neuse Road. My review….eh. I mean it’s not that it was bad, they just didn’t have a lot of variety. I ended up getting a blackened chicken wrap which was pretty good, but not something I’m going to crave everyday. I’m also a big fan of Ranch dressing, and their’s didn’t really impress me. Will I go back….maybe, if I’m in the mood for bar food. Otherwise, I’ll be heading to all the other great restaurants in Raleigh!
P.S. Everyone give a big welcome to Doug Sutton!

I agree for the most part, but for a vegetarian, the tomato pasta dish, whatever it was called, was EXCELLENT. I can’t say I’ve ever had better… Keep in mind, however, that I ordered it because it does not mention cheese in the menu. Alas, it’s a tomato-cheese sauce. Super tasty, but so NOT OK for someone who needs to avoid cheese, especially for health purposes.
