Turkish Delights and Baklava!
| Posted by: trankin in Desserts |
So you might not have noticed the purple house on Glenwood South, even though I’m not sure how you can miss a big purple house on Glenwood South, but it is a must stop! I was introduced to Turkish Delights this past summer and ever since then I have tried to go back as much as possible. Not only do they have some of the best ice cream in the area, but their Baklava is to die for!
Everytime I go into the house I feel like I have stepped into another country. Between the decorations, the Turkish ladies who work there, and the amazing Baklava, I’m not sure how you can still think your on Glenwood South. When I’m not chowing down on the Baklava I get a couple scoops of the ice cream. A must try is the Bear Claw..dark chocolate ice cream, with caramel and chocolate covered cashews!! YUMMY!

Ooooooh! I’ve had the Bear Claw and it’s BEYOND delicious!! I love this place too, Teran. We definitely should make it a destination for another team building event. You think?

I absolutely love going there! Like you said, you feel swept away from Raleigh altogether!
