This is in my backyard?

Yesterday I visited my favorite coffee shop…. Stone Wolf Coffee!!

Stone Wolf Coffee is in North Raleigh off Falls of the Neuse Rd in the Falls Village Shopping Center. I might be a little bias because I used to work there, but I love going to Stone Wolf. Not only do they have the best coffee, lattes, cappucinos, and pastries around, but they also have awesome sandwiches, salads, breakfast wraps, breakfast sandwiches, and you can’t forget the milkshakes!!

My favorite is the specialty espresso drinks: The Creme Brulee, Black and Tan, The Milky Way…they all taste as good as they sound!! I was able to shoot some video yesterday, so I will have that up as soon as the caffeine kicks in…..

Ok so I don’t have any pictures or video to go along with my blog today, but I had to tell you all about one of the awesome places I discovered in my backyard…The Pharmacy aka The Hayes-Barton Cafe and Dessertery. I had the pleasure of going there one day for lunch and I have to tell you the food is amazing. The best part about the pharmacy though isn’t the food, it’s the atmosphere and the desserts!!

The Pharmacy is located at 5-points in downtown Raleigh. I have only gone for lunch, but I have heard that going for dinner is even better.  They say when you step into the cafe it’s like stepping back in time! If you have had the pleasure of going there from dinner, please tell me and everyone else all about it!

A heads up for the Pharmacy….parking can be hard to come by, the desserts are huge, and they don’t except credit cards, so come prepared!! 

Hello World….welcome to my blog! It took me a long time to decide what exactly it was that I wanted to blog about. I have so many exciting things that I do in my everyday life, but as I started talking to other people about them, it turns out I’m the only who finds them exciting! So I’ve decided to write about food (I’m some what obsessed) and things in the Raleigh area that people might not know about.

I’ve lived in Raleigh for over 4 years now and it seems, every so often I discover amazing places/events/restaurants, etc that I never even knew existed! I’m not a good writer as you can see, I write like I talk! So a lot of my blog will hopefully be more of a vlog. I’m more of a visual person anyhow so hopefully you all will enjoy my pics and video! Join me as I discover new places, new faces, and of course awesome restaurants!!
