Also the last 10 km of the Women's race were exciting TV, even though no Australian woman featured. A fine display of determination and strength in atrocious conditions. Nicole Cooke lost the wheel of her fellow break away riders in the last corner but fought back to take the gold medal in an uphill sprint. It was amazing to watch. Something to learn from her: Never give up! It was so exciting to watch - especially with Michael Rogers getting quite close.
