Its all about the sitbones. If people make a wiser choice about what they sit on and how they distribute their weight, there wouldn't be all this crazy talk on ED that's getting the wrong message out to people sometimes - that cycling altogether is bad! Thats wrong.

It would be a great gag gift for you friend who is turning 50. That picture of you is hilarious. Or, maybe you could file it away and if your old pal starts to fail you in another 12 years you will have the info. LOL!!

I can't believe that Dr. Ruth is still alive. It is creepy that she knows so much about sex.

As someone who turned 50 a year and a half ago, I would be a bit sensitive to receiving the "Sex After 50" book, unless, of course there are great tips that are not suitable for younger folk.

The article in Bicycling published years ago has a life that will never end, and started a trend towards saddles with cutouts. It turns out that the doctor quoted in the piece had nothing much to back up his claims and recanted. I think the general consensus is that if your bike fits properly, you have a good saddle and you shift your weight around and stand every so often you should be fine. Pro riders put in 40,000 kms a year on their saddles and don't seem to have many problems: Jens Voigt has, I believe, at least five children and remains one of the strongest men in the peloton.

And we all know that cyclists are very hot compared to the average couch potato. Maybe better to get your friend Joe Friel's book on cycling past 50 instead!

That is priceless! It would certainly make a great 50th birthday present, as long as they have a sense of humour.
You could also donate it to the library, as many people with these issues would rather borrow them discreetly instead of waiting in line at a store and buying it.
Then again, you could also shelve it and have it on hand...just in case. ;)
