Tuesday’s Who’s Here!

On Tuesday (aka Senior Citizens Day), I had one question:

While questioning why the State Fair, I had a blast meeting plenty of fantastic and *fun* people.  You should meet them! Wait ~ Let me introduce you:

… and those fun people led to an unexpected scavenger hunt for me! Will I find what everyone is talking about? Watch and see:

Happy huntings for yourself! Only a few days left for your own adventure!

What is the easiest way to get to the Fair?

Well, I guess that depends on where you live and where you can find a parking spot…

I took the shuttle earlier this week to the fair.  It was easy and cost a lot less than some of the lots by the fairgrounds.  Check out my video to see where you can catch the shuttle and how my experience was.

What’s So Great About the Fair?

The great thing about the State Fair is there’s something for everyone. From riding the rides to watching the animals, there’s plenty to do…and everyone has a favorite! So on my visit to the fair, I wanted to know what people liked best! Here’s what a few people had to say:

Seems like food was a favorite for everbody! (I’d have to agree!)

What is your favorite animal?

I spent the first day visiting with the animals at the NC State Fair.  If you haven’t been to the fair, you know that visiting with the animals play a big part in why people come from across states to the NC State Fair.  From cows to turkeys, the fair has it all.  It’s exciting to see people’s reactions…especially the children…to what the fair has to offer.

I decided to ask some of the smallest visitors at the fair what their favorite animals are…..some answered with farm animals, others with animals I have yet to see at the fair, such as an Arctic Wolf!

You’re With The Band: NC State Fair Day 4

Today is The Wells Family Bands last day at the NC State Fair and our last V-Blog entry. We are going to have a BLAST today… We’re taking you backstage! Let’s Roll!

Part 1…..

Part 2……

Hope You Had Fun Hanging Out With The Wells Family Band. See You Down The Road!!! Bye!

YES! There were some BRAVE People!

On the second day of the State Fair, I had the opportunity to turn the camera on the young and old alike as they conquered the rides.  Below are two video snippets from that day.

The first one is Part 1 of my day as I captured the younger children as they got off the rides:

The second is Part 2 of my day as I captured those that dared to brave the higher, faster, and scarier rides:

I might just need to go back and try a few of the others I didn’t get to. Perhaps I’ll “Get Twisted“.

Yummy…NC State Fair Food!!

There’s nothing better than the NC State Fair, well maybe one thing, and that would be the NC State Fair Food!!! I got to spend the day sampling the food, talking to the vendors, and talking to folks at the fair about the food. So check out my vlog and see what I found!!
