De-stress with computer games
Ok, so if you’re reading my blog, you are looking for an outlet, some entertainment online. Most of us spend a huge portion of our days online, always with a mission in mind. Where did the mindless activities go? Lots of men de-stress with video games, but all of the sports and violent gaming options just seem stressful to me. Well, I recently learned that gaming isn’t just for the guys. I read that 2 out of 3 MSN Game Zone players are women. I looked into it and there are a couple of cool gaming sites that make for a great mental break for those that just want an escape from the norm. Put your personal email off until tomorrow and de-stress with a few of these sites:
Playfirst.com let’s you download games onto your computer for free so you can try them before you buy. One of the most popular games in Diner Dash The player helps “Flo” work her way from running a diner to ruling a 5 star restaurant.
Did you say FREE makeover? Lifetime features the Head 2 Toe Makeover Game
PopCap Games offers a free download called Bejeweled where players can clear a board of gemstones by creating matching set.
Since, I can’t seem to finish that novel i’ve been trying to read in my “downtime” b/c I can’t get off of the computer…I think I found a new hobby! I welcome any recommendations on any other unique online gaming options.
