(LIVE) Chip! Wake Animal Center
Wake Animal Center
announces
CHIP
ID 4507
Adoption: FREE!
Chip is a 6 month old lab mix. He has been sitting inside his cage at Wake Animal Center for 3 weeks straight. I sponsored him for $70 today. Add this to the pile of cash ($50) that other sponsors have offered to save Chip’s life and we have one free shelter dog waiting for his forever family. I noticed that Chip is very dirty. Looks like he’s been through hell. But the brightness of his being and the sparkle in his eye erases the grime he’s had to live with. Chip is heartworm negative.
Included in his adoption is neuter, rabies, all vaccines, microchip, and $500 medical benefits with VCA veterinary clinics.
Wake County Animal Center Sunday Hours: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Come on everyone! Let’s break this boy out!
You are a saint! God must have a special place for you, when your work in done down here!
Why is Chip dirty? He wouldn’t be dirty in the SPCA!
If only I had room, I’d take him — he’s gorgeous!
My townhouse is full. I’d be a “collector” if I rescued anymore and I’d be “as poor as a church mouse”! This is heartbraking!
Chip is dirty because no one cares. Who cares to visit the animal shelter on the weekend? How many people really come? How many really volunteer? I hope someone comes for this young fella soon. A good bath, a few hugs, and a run around a park…he will be a great dog and a real hero in someone’s life. Thank you for sharing.
im waiting on a responce, chip will have a good home with me and my family if someone would just answer my emails, i need someone to meet me half way to pick him up or a transport to kenly!
Thank-you Tamara! God bless you!
How far is Kenly from Ral.? Please let this blog know and we’ll work it out(quickly, before they kill him!).
Please keep us posted. Let me know if I can help in anyway - I’m willing to help transport but can’t until Saturday because of work.
He looks so sweet.
Any news on Chip? Please tell me he is on his way to have a bath and a soft place to finally sleep???
Is Chip free, yet?
The picture of the bins full of those lovely dogs — so young and beautiful, but never got a chance to be loved and run free — is seared in my brain! This is mass extermination! God help them! That picture should be on the front page of the newspaper: YOUR TAXES ARE PAYING FOR THIS, BUT NOT FOR STERILIAZION!
Does anyone still need a ride to help to get Chip? I can help as well.
Chip is adopted! There is a post the day before yesterday on the blog about this wondeful news.
He left the shelter with his new Mom and a cold. I pray for his happiness.
