How hot is hot?
Yesterday, I kept saying that the high would be a warm 88 degrees.
My wife said to me that she disagreed and thought 88 was hot. I said, that I usually reserve 90 degrees and above for the hot label. Now, if we were to hit 88 in say March, that might qualify as hot.
My weather forecast terminology is as follows:
In the summer….90s are hot, 80s are warm, 70s are mild, and 60s are cool.
In the winter it is obviously different; 30s and below are cold, 40s and 50s are cool, 60s are mild, and 70s and above are warm.
Hot is a forbidden weather word in winter, unless you are talking about chocolate.
A cold glass of water will be needed in this upcoming HOT spell of weather; which will qualify as a heat wave, because 90s look likely for at least the next seven days. Stay 60s, or I mean cool.
