Had A Bad Day!
My pick to win it all in San Antonio definitely had a bad day on Saturday night against Kansas. My daughter wanted to support the Tar Heels when they returned home to Chapel Hill On Sunday. So we headed over to the Dean Smith Center with about 50-60 other die-hards. The team bus from the airport dropped the players off around 4:30 and we were able to cheer them as they walked by. Here are a couple of pictures.
What I want you to notice is the maintenance truck behind the players. The bus driver who was backing up after dropping the players off didn’t see that truck as he backed up. He hit the truck and then smashed the door and window as he tried to maneuver out of the way. Definitely he had a bad day. Poor guy. In the top picture of Danny Green, you can see the bus driver filling out a report on his accident. Here’s a closer look at the damage.
