Snow Timing

I have a great friend who used to work with me in Durham a long time ago.  He had been living in the Mid-Atlantic for several years when he decided to move to Wisconsin for a better job.  My friend loved going to Wrightsville Beach on vacation and just loved the ocean.  I thought it very interesting that he moved to the Midwest, the closest ocean almost 1000 miles away!  Well this beach loving guy moved last fall and little did he suspect how hard the winter was going to be.  Southern Wisconsin has had feet of snow this season, twice as much as they usually get and they just had some snow for Easter.  How did my friend survive?  I just got an e-mail from him telling me he just spent two weeks sailing in the Caribbean!  Escaping is good for the mind and soul, he’s just back to work now this week in Wisconsin; should I tell him now that more snow is in the forecast?
