Flying For Free?

This past weekend was shorter by one hour as we set our clocks ahead one hour to spring ahead.  This was the equivalent of travelling to a time zone one hour ahead of us. (Except for having to take our shoes off.)  I am sure I wasn’t the only one who felt one hour behind all day Sunday and then yesterday felt sluggish and jet-lagged.

I dealt with the time change by taking a short nap yesterday which left me tired enough to get to bed early Monday night.  I guess my schedule isn’t usual, as my alarm goes off at 2:30 am (1:30 old body clock time).  I love taking naps during the day to make up for getting up to early.  There are days though where I can zonk out for 4 hours!  If I did that yesterday, I would have been up til 10 or 11pm and probably not been able to adjust today.

I think today I finally feel normal again, I am just a little disappointed that I didn’t get the benefit of being jet lagged, like being somewhere where they are one hour ahead of us…like say Bermuda.

I felt the same way yesterday…and I even took a nap on Sunday!
