Election Day is Here

Election Day has arrived. Still not sure who you’re voting for on the local level? Click here to learn more about your candidate.

The polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Find your polling place here. Those who are not registered to vote will NOT be able to do so Tuesday.

According to the state board of elections, 22,412 absentee ballots have been turned in, while another 469,445 took advantage of the Early Voting/One Stop Voting system.

But more than 5.8 million people are registered to vote in North Carolina, so there may be long lines at your polling place.

Democrats Meet and Greet with Public Monday

RALEIGH, N.C. — A forum for North Carolina Democratic Candidates will take place Monday at the Wake County Commons Building, 4011 Carya Drive.

 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. — Meet & Greet

6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Democratic Candidates Forum

The public is invited to meet Democratic candidates running for office and hear their campaign platforms.

Democratic candidates running for all federal, state and local levels of government are invited to participate. During the forum, democratic candidates without a contested primary will be recognized. Democratic candidates with a contested primary will be given an opportunity to present their campaign platform. Tables will be available for campaign and voter registration materials.
