| Rank | Film Title | Gross | Weeks | Cume |
| 1 | TROPIC THUNDER | 14.30 | 3 | 86.6 |
| 2 | BABYLON A.D. | 12.00 | 1 | 12.0 |

| 4 | THE HOUSE BUNNY | 10.20 | 2 | 29.8 |
| 5 | TRAITOR | 10.00 | 1 | 11.5 |
I don’t know what to say to these results except that it’s interesting that no one film outshown another this particular weekend. I mean I can’t make judgements about movies that I haven’t seen yet (numbers 1, 2, and 4, respectively) but I did see number 5, Traitor, this past weekend and it kept me interested (My review will be up later in the week.). I just find that outside of The Dark Knight, I’d love to know what’s appealing about any of the others. Anyone want to shed some light for me? I can tell you this, I won’t be spending my own money on any of the films from this list that I haven’t seen yet. None of them appeal to my taste quite honestly.
Surprisingly, there are only a select few coming up within the next two months that I am remotely interested in seeing (Righteous Kill with Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino and the chick-flick, Nights in Rodanthe, based on the book by the same name written by Nicholas Sparks). I hope the fall shapes up a bit better for we film-goers!
Until next time, see YOU at the movies,
