NC Energy Customers Can Help Reduce Carbon Footprint

According to the Triangle Business Journal, Progress Energy Carolinas and NC GreenPower intorduced a new program Wednesday that will help utility customers reduce their carbon footprints.

    Interesting development–esp. since I just canceled my NCGreenPower participation last week. Something like 2/3 of projects being funded are projects of individual homeowners. Seems like I’d be better off trying to fund my own solar project!

    My one concern with this development is how much it will confuse utility customers. But let’s see. Hopefully, it’ll be a success.
