Going Green: Facts and Myths

Hear me when I say I’m all about making the world a safer and cleaner place to live.  I recycle and I conserve, but I can’t help wonder if this “going green” is just the latest trend.  Celebrities promote it everyday, or so it seems.  Whether it’s about driving a hybrid or wearing clothing made from real organic material, you have to wonder if it’s all real?  In fact, it’s a myth that hybrid cars are more green than regular cars.  Read for yourself.  In fact there are quite a few myths about living the green life.  Extending Daylight Saving Time to conserve enrgy?  What about the air conditioning that will have to run longer?  I believe global warming does exist, and I think we should all do our part to help save the planet we live on, but I also think people need to understand what it really means to ”go green.”
