Parks and Recreation Little Rock Trail Extension Meeting

parksandrec.jpgIn an email to local residents, The City of Raleigh’s Parks and Recreation Department reports: 

“The City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a public meeting to present and discuss a proposed greenway trail. The proposed trail is an extension of the existing Little Rock Trail. This section begins south of Bragg Street and extends one half mile terminating at Peterson Street and connecting to the existing Walnut Creek Trail. 

You are invited to attend this public meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 7 p.m. at John P. “Top” Green Neighborhood Center located at 401 Martin Luther King Blvd.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, information will be posted to the City’s webpage (www.raleighnc.gov/parkplan). If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Lisa Potts at (919) 807-5140 or via email at parkplan@ci.raleigh.nc.us “
