who’s ashley sue
If you want to know who Ashley Sue is, my question is, how do you sum up a person in an article?
Well, I’m looking for my place in a world that at times feels all too large while simultaneously all too cramped.
I support living more in tune with the world around us, but I won’t suggest to build a treehouse to live in (though that might be pretty amazing) and to live the amish life.
Many of us live in a town or city ~ and have a crazy life… starting with coffee, ending with nightly news, and jammed with kids, a long commute to (and from) work, housework, pets, a thousand emails and a to-do list that grows twice as fast as we can check off.
My stance?
We’re never too busy to do some simple things to keep our area cleaner and healthier. I’m not talking clorox and Adkins diets. I’m talking baking soda cleanser and a few more veggies and fruits (and if you can make it organic, extra points for you). Put that drink bottle in a recycling bin instead of the trash, even if that means you have to carry it home to do so (not too much to ask, I promise).
If you find yourself so entranced with green living that you decide to buy a hybrid, you spend your Saturdays cultivating your compost heap and your weekend home improvement project is to install solar panels, all the better. If you can’t get that into it, however, no one here is going to judge you.
I’ll totally judge you if you drop your trash on the sidewalk or ground (or cigarettes out your car window). For goodness sake, when you go to Lake Jordan, instead of doing the norm (leaving your trash on the shore), pick up two pieces of trash to dispose of properly. Imagine, if we all picked up even one piece of trash instead of leaving a trail behind…
If you have any ideas or comments for me, or any great topic suggestions for future blogs or vlogs, shoot me an email at green.grounded@gmail.com.
And until we meet again, live like a Rockstar… a greener Rockstar than you were yesterday.
Oh yeah, one last thing, though I think buying from a locally-owned bookstore is always ideal, I also think everyone should keep an updated Amazon Wishlist. You can learn a lot about someone’s personality by their extensive wishlist.
